This information is held securely on a database and is not passed on to any person or party unrelated to the management of the site. The information is accessible to the managers of the LearnEM website.

What happens to the Information
Information provided by users
LearnEM uses the information provided by users to provide user authentication (username and password) and obtain demographic information (profession and location of practice) to assist in ensuring the website provides for the needs of users.
Unless you have requested us to send you updates with respect to the website we will not use your email address to communicate with you. Where you have completed a training module on the website you will receive an email with an attachment confirming your completion of the module and providing feedback to the final assessment.
Disclosures required by law
We will disclose information we maintain when required to do so by law, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena. We also may disclose such information in response to a law enforcement agency's request.
Disclosure by users
Users are reminded that they are bound by the medical privacy standards when using interactive components on the site such as discussion boards. Users should be careful not to disclose identifiable patient information and if this information is accidentally revealed, other users are bound not to reveal that information to any other person.

LearnEM provides links on the web site to other web sites. These sites are not managed by LearnEM and we cannot accept responsibility for the contents or operators of those sites.
